Description: EPA Region 1 has issued a draft NPDES permit for wastewater and stormwater discharges from Logan Airport, to Massport and other co-Permitees. This permit limits what can legally be discharged to Boston Harbor, Boston Inner Harbor and Winthrop Bay as well as specifying operational measures designed to control pollution from the airport. The limits and controls ensure that the discharges do not hurt water quality or public health. This meeting will give information on the different parts of the permit and be an opportunity for the community to ask questions.
